Herzlich lädt das Kunstbildungsprogramm Ubuntus e.V. im Januar und Februar 2024 zur Veranstaltungsreihe Offenes Live-Art-Atelier mit geflüchteten Künstler*innen aus Belarus im Community Studio in der KARLA am Haus der Statistik ein:
Drei Künstler*innen mit Fluchtbiografie aus Belarus entwickeln live an jeweils einem offenen Ateliertag ein Kunstwerk zu einem selbstgewählten Grundbegriff aus dem aktuellen identitätspolitischem Diskursfeld (z.B. Solidarität) in jeweils einer von drei unterschiedlichen Kunstsparten (Installation, Malerei, Neue Medien).
Die Live-Art-Ateliers fördern den Austausch über das aktuelle Kriegszeitgeschehen, kollektive und individuelle Einwanderung sowie zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement.

Die Taschenmanufaktur
Die Taschenmanufaktur ist ein Projekt des Haus der Materialisierung, in dem mit einfachen Techniken aus gebrauchten Textilien neue Taschen hergestellt werden können.
Das Projekt wurde im Kollektiv für den deutschen Pavillon der Architekturbiennale 2023 entwickelt und dort von Mai bis November aktiv ins Programm des deutschen Pavillons eingebunden. Nun kommt die Taschenmanufaktur nach Berlin und im Rahmen der Ausstellung „The Great Repair“ und des Kunstvermittlungsprogramm von Kunstwelten können Besucher:innen eigene Taschen oder Tragehilfen herstellen.
Die Manufaktur widmet sich der Frage, wie wir durch die Pflege und Aufbereitung von Materialien als sozialer Praxis zu einem neuen Verständnis von Ressourcen, Wert und Ökonomie gelangen können. Von groß bis klein – alle können sich an den bunten Stoffen und Werkzeugen ausprobieren und ihre eigene Kreationen auf Basis von vier Taschen-Prototypen herstellen. Es sind keine Vorkenntnisse notwendig, Kinder können mit ihren Eltern zusammen arbeiten. Es können mittelgroße Stoffreste (mind. 50×50 cm) von zu Hause mitgebracht werden.

Bei einem Rundgang durch das Zentrum für klimaschonende Ressourcennutzung stellen wir euch die Pionier:innen mit ihren Gebrauchtwarenmärkten & Selbsthilfewerkstätten im Haus der Materialisierung vor. Dabei könnt ihr Sharing, Re-Use, Repairing, Upcycling und Workshop Angebote in den Bereichen Klimaschutz, Nachhaltigkeit und Kreislaufwirtschaft entdecken.
Das Haus der Materialisierung ist ein Zusammenschluss verschiedener Initiativen und Institutionen, die zu den Themen des nachhaltigen Wirtschaftens und klimagerechter Ressourcennutzung forschen, praktizieren und arbeiten. Das Haus der Materialisierung ist Teil des Modellprojekts Haus der Statistik, das seit 2018 von der sogenannten Koop5 unweit des Berliner Alexanderplatzes entwickelt wird. Die Akteur:innen im Haus der Materialisierung arbeiten selbstorganisiert, als freie Selbständige oder (teil-) gefördert in verschiedenen Zusammenschlüssen und Geschäftsmodellen.
Seit Sommer 2021 befindet sich auch das Zentrum für klimaschonende Ressourcennutzung im Haus der Materialisierung unter der Projektleitung von Kunst-Stoffe Berlin, das im Rahmen der berlinweiten Re-Use Strategie entwickelt wurde.
Der Aufbau des Haus der Materialisierung wird wissenschaftlich begleitet durch ein dreijähriges durch die DBU gefördertes Forschungsprojekt: Reallabor Zirkuläres Wirtschaften im urbanen Kontext, Umweltkommunikation im Haus der Materialisierung in Kooperation mit der TU, ZKB und Material Mafia.

Das kollektiv und gemeinschaftlich organisierte Haus der Materialisierung lädt im Rahmen der Ausstellung The Great Repair am Mittwoch, 25. Oktober von 15 – 19 Uhr nach Berlin-Mitte ein.

Das kollektiv und gemeinschaftlich organisierte Haus der Materialisierung lädt im Rahmen der Ausstellung The Great Repair am Mittwoch, 25. Oktober von 15 – 19 Uhr nach Berlin-Mitte ein.
Besucher:innen können hier praktizierte Kreislaufwirtschaft erleben und selbst an thematischen Workshops teilnehmen, die sich mit Kreisläufen von Materialien sowie der sozialen Praxis von Reparatur, Instandhaltung und Pflege beschäftigen. Themen sind unter anderem Pilzkultivierung, Herstellung von Hygieneprodukten, Lampen und Schmuckproduktion aus Plastikabfällen, Reparatur und Basics der Holzreparatur. Es können auch eigene Projekte mitgebracht werden, Infos zu den einzelnen Workshops und was ggf. mitgebracht werden muss, gibt es hier.

Reparatur zum Anfassen! Wir zeigen in einer kleinen Ausstellung Artefakte mit prototypischen Reparaturen zum in die Hand nehmen. Besucher:innen können hier Anregungen sammeln, die dann in den Werkstätten umgesetzt werden können! Jedes Artefakt bietet außerdem einen Faktencheck zu den positiven Umwelt-Effekten des Reparierens und geht auf typische Hemmnisse und Schwierigkeiten ein.
Mitkunstzentrale: Leben, Bauen und Wohnen mit Pilzen
An diesem offenen Labortag lernt ihr das Pilz-Kunst-Labor im Haus der Materialisierung kennen. Es ist ein erster vorwiegend theoretischer Einstieg in die spannende Welt der Pilzkultivierung und beinhaltet Informationen über das Bauen mit Pilzen sowie zeichnerische Methoden als Annäherung in die Myzelisierung von Restmaterialien.
Alterbeschränkung: ab 18 Jahren
Teilnehmende: bis 8 Personen

Wir werden Menstruationsbinden aus alten Stoffen herstellen und einen Einblick in unterschiedliche Reparaturtechniken von Textilien bekommen. Vom Reparieren alter Stricksocken, über Hosen kürzen & versäumen, und Flicken von kleinen Löchern in Hosen und T-shirts.

Reparaturtag in der offenen ReUse Holzwerkstatt von BAUFACHFRAU-Berlin.de. Wir vermitteln euch die Basics zur Holzreparatur und unterstützen euch bei der Reparatur eurer Projekte.

As part of the Berlin Democracy Day, Intikuren and Co-Making Matters invite you to a special day and night event with music, food and talk to share practices connected to Latin America in Berlin.
On 14th of September, 4 – 10pm, at Haus der Statistik (Otto Wald space).
‘State of nourishment: Kitchen + Talks + Music’ is an artistic and cultural event centered around gastronomy and connections of cultural practitioners from Latin America based in Berlin. The program brings together ideas, experiences, and knowledge about food and its various relationships with our society and the planet. The program is composed of an intercultural cooking workshop followed by a roundtable discussion on contemporary food and ancestral knowledge, music, dance and other artistic expressions. To conclude, we will nourish the spirit with music and performative art.

Carolina and Nicole will take us on a culinary adventure, using rescued food and traditional ingredients from South America.
