Jeden Monat öffnen wir die KONSERVE im OTTO am Haus der Statistik und schaffen einen Raum für nonverbale Kommunikation. Wir gestalten eine Bühne für alle, die sich selber gern bewegen und auch für diejenigen, die einfach nur zuschauen wollen. Zu den Jams werden als Special-Guests Künstler*Innen aus den verschiedensten Genres und Objekte verschiedenster Daseinszustände eingeladen, um unterschiedliche Impulse zu setzen.

The dance performance collective -die elektroschuhe- was founded in 2009 by the four dancers/choreographers Ini Dill, Daniel Drabek, Elly Fujita and Katja Scholz and works continuously with the musician Sabine Bremer and the musician/video artist Arne Nitzsche. In changing roles, the collective deals with socio-political issues and experiments with spatial characteristics in public, private and stage spaces. Numerous collaborations with visual artists, video artists and musicians constantly provide new impulses for linking body, space and time.

Die Burner Embassy Berlin – Zentrum für Kunst und Mitmachkultur – feiert ihren 5. Geburtstag am Haus der Statistik. Wir freuen uns über das Erreichte und wappnen uns für die anstehenden (Raum-) Veränderungen, indem wir uns auf unsere Stärken besinnen: Einen rein spendenfinanzierten Ort für gemeinschaftliche Erfahrungen schaffen, und so kreativ und künstlerisch eine Alternative zu Kommerziellem oder Fremdfinanziertem aufzuzeigen.
An unserem Geburtstag möchten wir euch im Sinne der 10 Prinzipien weniger eine Party, sondern vielmehr eine Art Familienpicknick bieten, zu dem alle Nachbarn herzlich eingeladen sind, und auch sich zu beteiligen! Engagierte Mitwirkende haben bereits ein spannendes Rahmenprogramm zusammengestellt, auf dem Plan stehen eine vielfältige Sammlung von (teils interaktiver) Kunst, das Burner Bingo, Firespinning, ein Mitbring-Buffet, eine winterliche Fotostation, etwas Musik und viele weitere Überraschungen (plus Glühwein). Wir freuen uns riesig auf euch!

Das Jahr 2022. Corona, soziale Distanzierung. Außerdem: feministische Power-Bewegung und Gender-Diskussionen. Ein Mann. Gefangen in seinem Bett. Ein Flüchtling vor Informationsüberflutung und pervertierten menschlichen Werten. Er will jemand sein, der nicht Teil dieser verrückten Gesellschaft ist. Und er ist sich sicher, dass er es finden kann, in sich selbst, dieses neue Geschöpf: bunt, vielfältig und atemberaubend. Wenn nur sein Gefängnis nicht so bequem wäre.
The year 2022: corona, social distancing. Also: feminist power movement and gender discussions. A man. Trapped in his bed. A refugee from information overload and perverted human values. He wants to be someone who is not part of this crazy society. And he is sure that he can find it in himself, this new creature: colorful, diverse and breathtaking. If only his prison wasn’t so comfortable.

Was trägst Du und wenn ja wie lange? Über mehrere Monate sammelte die Choreografin und Tänzerin Ini Dill Altkleider aus Zu-verschenken-Kisten vor Berliner Haustüren. Sie dokumentierte die Fundorte und verarbeitete die Fundstücke weiter zu einem bühnengroßen Textil. Dieser Berlin-Stadtplan abgelegter Mode ist zugleich Bühnenbild und Kostüm-Patchwork für eine Tanzperformance über das Verhältnis von uns Stadtbewohner*innen zu dem Stoff, der uns am nächsten ist: der eigenen Kleidung. In Auseinandersetzung mit Haptik, Faserdichte, Gewicht, Farbe und Form, aber auch mit Fragen zu Produktionsweisen und Lieferketten der Textilien entstehen auf der Bühne Bewegungsqualitäten und -muster. Verwoben mit Stimmen aus der Welt des Konsums, die vorab in Slow-Fashion-Interventionen auf dem Alexanderplatz beforscht wird, performt das Kollektiv „die elektroschuhe“ Szenen über Lieblingsstücke, Fehlkäufe, globale Verstrickungen und die ganz großen Kreislauf-Utopien.
What do you wear and if so, for how long? For several months, the choreographer and dancer Ini Dill collected old clothes from gift boxes on Berlin’s doorsteps. She documented the sites and further processed the finds into a stage-sized textile. This Berlin city map of discarded fashion is both a stage set and a costume patchwork for a dance performance about the relationship between us city dwellers and the fabric that is closest to us: our own clothes. In dealing with haptics, fiber density, weight, color and shape, but also with questions about production methods and supply chains of textiles, movement qualities and patterns emerge on stage. Interwoven with voices from the world of consumerism, which is being researched in advance in slow fashion interventions on Alexanderplatz, the collective „die elektroschuhe“ performs scenes about favorite pieces, bad purchases, global entanglements and the very big circular utopias.

„INTIKUREN: Paths & Perspectives“ is being developed as part of the Sustainable Food Cultures Week at @tu_berlin from June 7th to 10th in the space of @comakingmatters at @HausderStatistik.

What can a table hold? How many banquets, conversations, declarations, and armistices have taken place – or been savored – at the tables of the world!
Another fascinating aspect of tables and their settings is the senses they stimulate. Long conversations that begin with the preparation of the food and end in a long – and fortunately still permitted – #sobremesa, where each sense: sight, touch, smell, taste, hearing, is stimulated.
This is the recipe that INTIKUREN has developed since its pandemic beginnings in 2020. In an act of rebellion against social and culinary disconnection, we began cooking for family and friends during the first window of restriction-free Berlin summer. These events, each with their unique character, were called volumes.
Today, as part of #VOLUME10 of Intikuren, we propose a journey through the paths explored by each volume over these almost four years, while seeking to strengthen our proposal in these turbulent times.
