„Lost in language“ ist eine Performance, die die italienische Regisseurin und Schauspielerin Lea Barletti mit der polnischen Autorin Elzbieta Chovaniec innerhalb einer Woche in Danzig erarbeitet hat. Sie erzählt eine Geschichte über den allmählichen Verlust der Sprechfähigkeit und die Entdeckung einer neuen Form der Kommunikation.

Abschlussfestival: Fabulamundi
Als Abschluss des dreijährigen internationalen Projekts Fabulamundi Playwriting Europe – Beyond Borders? zeigt das Interkulturelle Theaterzentrum Berlin (Itz) noch einmal ausgewählte Inszenierungen und szenischen Einrichtungen, die im Laufe der letzten zwei Jahre im Rahmen der Dramatischen Republik gezeigt worden sind.

Fabulamundi Abschlussfestival und Rückschau Dramatische Republik 17.-20. September
Als Abschluss der Aktivitäten im Rahmen des dreijährigen internationalen Projekts Fabulamundi Playwriting Europe – Beyond Borders? zeigt das Interkulturelle Theaterzentrum Berlin noch einmal gebündelt ausgewählte Inszenierungen und szenischen Einrichtungen, die im Laufe der letzten zwei Jahre im Rahmen der monatlichen Dramatischen Republik, die vom Itz an wechselnden Orten organisiert wurde, zu sehen waren. Ergänzt wird das Programm zudem durch diverse Online-Aktivitäten, die die europäischen Partner von Fabulamundi im Lauf der Woche vom 12.-20. September veranstalten. Dazu gehören diverse Video-Lectures namhafter Autoren, Talks mit Theatermachern und Autoren, Ausstrahlung von Videoaufzeichnungen von Inszenierungen und Gespräche zwischen Autoren und Übersetzern. Im Haus der Statistik ( Karl Marx Allee 1) werden vom 17. bis 20. September hingegen live noch einmal folgende Aufführungen zu sehen sein:
17.9./ 19 Uhr: Beginn vor der Werkstatt am Döner Imbiss in der Karl Marx Allee,
„Eine unendliche Geschichte“ von Artur Palyga, Übersetzung: Antje Miller-Ritter, Dauer ca.180′. Eine szenische Lesung in mehreren Stationen von und mit Werner Waas und Daniel Wittkopp & Gästen, wie Frank Bergner, Harald Wissler u.v.m.
Die Prozession folgt dem hybriden Leichenwagen unter den Blicken der sozialistischen Plattenbauten als heilige Fahrt über mehrere Stationen. Begleitet von Gilgamesch und einer weihrauchgeschwängerten mobilen Bar mleczny wird das Gewisper der Gespenster trotz der Schallplatte von The Shadows (voll aufgedreht) und dem Żywiec in der Faust bis zum letzten Akt immer lauter. Und der Gott ist gegen uns. Dann: Szene 8 unvollendet. Versus populum. Betet für uns!

Zack Zack Zack. Steig ein. Der seltsame Sheriff aus der Prager Nordstadt sitzt am Steuer. Fiebertrip in den Untergang. Und der einsame Wolf freut sich drauf. Zack! Mitten in Dein Universum. Und nochmal: Zack! Hauptsache Du spürst die Vibrationen. Wie hier alles langsam in den Sumpf zurück sinkt. Er nimmt Dich ordentlich ins Gebet. Damit Du weißt, wie das Leben läuft. Keiner hat einen Blechmagen. Jeder muss seine Ängste überwinden. Jeder hat eine Wunde. Punkt. Hat hier einer ein Problem? Sei nicht so empfindlich, Herr Oberschlau. Tschechischer Humor halt. Ein bisschen Spaß wird man ja doch noch haben dürfen, oder? Und… action!

Was bleibt von uns, jenseits unserer schon vorgeschriebenen Rollen. „Leere im Kosmos“, absolute Vereinzelung, der Stillstand und Tod im Leben. Ein Mann und eine Frau erkennen sich, vor dem Hintergrund von Venedig, einer zur Schlacht ausufernden Demonstration und eines ermordeten Dichters. Wir werden Zeugen einer Bewusstwerdung und eines Versuchs, absolut ehrlich zu sein, vor sich und den anderen. Ein radikaler poetischer Akt.

Die Welt ist kühl und entfremdet, der Wettbewerb scheint viel zu stark zu sein. Gibt es keine Tür mehr um raus zu gehen?

Fabulamundi Playwriting Europe: Beyond Borders? is a cooperation project among theatres, festivals and cultural organisations from 10 EU Countries (Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Romania, Austria, Belgium, UK, Poland and Czech Republic) for the promotion of contemporary dramaturgy. The network aims to support and promote the contemporary playwriting across Europe, in order to reinforce and enhance the activities and strategies of the professionals and artists working in the sector and to provide the theatre authors and professionals with opportunities of networking, multicultural encounter and professional development. www.fabulamundi.eu. Zur Dramatischen Republik
Die Dramatische Republik präsentiert monatlich seit Oktober 2018 europäische Stücke in Berlin als szenischen Lesungen, Publikumslesungen oder Werkstattinszenierungen an wechselnden Orten, wie dem TAK, Brotfabrik und am Haus der Statistik. Organisiert wird die Dramatische Republik vom Itz Berlin. In der Zeit zwischen 2018 und 2020 wurde sie durch das europäische Projekt Fabulamundi finanziert.
