Was ist die Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT?
Die Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT des Haus der Statistik ist eine Plattform zum Austausch von künstlerischen Praxen und anderen Wissensformen. Sie ist Teil der Aktivitäten der Initiative Haus der Statistik, deren Ziel es ist, in dem riesigen Plattenbaukomplex direkt am Alexanderplatz in Berlin ein Zentrum für Geflüchtete – Soziales – Kunst – Kreative und kommunale Demokratie einzurichten. Die Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT erprobt hierfür unterschiedliche Formate des Austauschs von Wissen, Fertigkeiten und Erfahrungen. Gesucht wird, was wir voneinander lernen können. Gesucht wird aber auch, was es gemeinsam zu lernen gibt um ein solches Vorhaben, wie das Haus der Statistik, umzusetzen.
Worum geht es praktisch?
Künstler_innen der freien Szene, Neu-Berliner_innen und Alt-Berliner_innen, Initiativen und Vereine sind eingeladen Arbeitsprozesse, öffentliche Veranstaltungen und Aktionen vorzuschlagen, die sie im Kontext der Initiative Haus der Statistik spannend finden.
Welche Formate?
Die Wahl des Arbeits- und Präsentationsformats steht völlig frei. In bisherigen Gesprächen waren wir an handlungsbasierten Formaten um das Haus der Statistik interessiert.
Wer kann mitmachen?
Künstler_innen der freien Szene aller Disziplinen, gleich ob Neu-Berliner_innen oder Alt-Berliner_innen, künstlerische Initiativen und Vereine.
Die durch den Akademiefonds finanzierten Veranstaltungen von Mitgliedern der freien Szene werden ergänzt durch (nicht geförderte) Veranstaltungen von interessierten Seminargruppen aus Hochschulen und Universitäten sowie Initiativen, Organisationen und Institutionen, die Ihre Themen in Austausch bringen möchten.
Welche Unterstützung kann ich bekommen?
Die Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT kann künstlerische Projekt aus City Tax Mitteln unterstützen. Pro Projekt wird empfohlen nicht mehr als 500€ zu beantragen. Die gesamtsumme der jetzt zu verteilenden mittel liegt bei 4.500€. Über die Vergabe entscheidet eine Jury. Das Team der Akademie ist klein und kann in begrenztem Mass bei Organisation und Kommunikation unterstützen.
Wo sollen die Aktionen und Veranstaltungen stattfinden?
Im öffentlichen Raum rund um das Haus der Statistik, in den public studios der Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT und in benachbarten Einrichtungen.
Zeitplanung von Ausschreibung und Umsetzung der Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT:
Der zweite Aufruf hat am 21 September begonnen und endet am 3. Oktober 2016! Der Zeitraum für die Aktionen der Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT reicht bis November 2016.

- der AkademieRat – ein offenes Plenum aller, die an der Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT mitwirken wollen. Der AkademieRat ist der Ort der Weiterentwicklung und gemeinschaftlichen Evaluation der Akademie und wird regelmäßig vom kuratorischen Team bzw. der Koordination einberufen. Die Sitzungen des AkademieRats sind Teil des Programms der Akademie.

Was muss ich dazu einreichen?
Das ausgefüllte Word-Dokument “Akademiefonds_Ausschreibungsformular”, das auf dieser Seite ganz oben unter „Download Formular in DE & EN (doc )“ heruntergeladen werden kann. Zudem können maximal 3 Bilder eingereicht werden.
Was, wenn mein Projektvorhaben nicht in das Formular passt?
Bitte das Formular so gut es geht ausfüllen und ergänzende Bemerkungen in die Mail an uns schreiben. In jedem Fall trotzdem einreichen!
Wohin muss ich das ausgefüllte Formular und Bilder senden?

Wann erhalte ich Bescheid, ob mein Projekt angenommen wurde?
Ca. 1 Woche nach Ende der Antragsfrist.
Wann bekomme ich das Geld? Kann ich einen Vorschuss bekommen?
Nachdem das Projekt stattgefunden hat. Ein Vorschuss (auch für Materialkosten) ist nicht möglich.
Sind die Angaben, die ich im Formular zu Datum, Tageszeit und Ort meines Projekts mache für die Veranstalter bindend?
Nein. Das kuratorische Team der Akademie sieht es als seine Aufgabe an, ein interessantes und über den Zeitraum (August – November 2016) verteiltes Programm auf die Beine zu stellen. Ort und Zeitpunkt wird im Einzelfall mit euch geklärt. Möglichst mehrere Terminoptionen nennen.

GENERAL INFORMATION
What is the Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT?
The Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT at the House of Statistics, is a platform for exchanging artistic practices and other forms of knowledge. The academy is part of the activities of the House of Statistics, located in a vast tower block complex at Alexanderplatz in Berlin. The aim of the House of Statistics is to establish a Centre for Refugees – Social Action – Art – and communal Democracy. For this purpose, the Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT tries out different formats of exchanging knowledge, skills and experiences. The goal is to find out what we can learn from each other, as well as what can be learned together, in order to realise a project like the House of Statistics.
What is it about?
Artists from the independent scene, new or old Berliners, initiatives and organisations are invited to suggest work processes, public events and actions, which might be interesting in the context of Initiative House of Statistics.
Which formats?
The choice of work and presentation format is completely up to you. In recent discussions, we were interested in action-based formats about the house of statistics.
Who can get involved?
Artists from the independent scene of all disciplines, regardless of whether they are new or old Berliners, artistic initiatives and organisations.
Events from members of the independent scene that are funded by the academy will be complemented by (non-funded) events from interested seminar groups from colleges and universities as well as initiatives, organisations and institutions, who wish to discuss their subject areas.
Welche Unterstützung kann ich bekommen?
Up to a limited financial need, artistic projects can be funded with money from the Berlin city tax. A jury will decide about the distribution. In total there is round about 4.500€ left, to spend on artistic projects. We recommend you to apply for a project with a need till a max. of 500 €. The team of the academy is small, but we will try to help you with certain things of organization and communication.
Where should the actions and events take place?
In the public realm around the House of Statistics, in the public studios of the Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT and in neighbouring establishments.

- the AkademieRat (Academy Committee) – a public group of all those who want to get involved at the Akademie der ZUsammenKUNFT. The AkademieRat is a place for the further development and collective evaluation of the academy and will be regularly called to meet by the Curatorial Team or the Coordination. AkademieRat meetings are part of the academy‘s programme.

What is the scope of the submission?

What if my project proposal does not fit on the application form?
Please try and fit as much of your proposal on the application form itself, and send any additional information in the body of the e-mail with which you send it to us. In any case, still submit!
Where do I send the completed form and photos?

When will I know if my project application has been successful?
Approximately 1 week after the end of the application deadline.
When will I get the money? Can I get an advance payment?
After the project has taken place. An advance payment for material or other outlay is unfortunately not possible.
Are the parameters I submit in the application with regard to the date, time and place of my project binding for the organizers?
No. The curatorial team of the Academy sees it as their task to deliver an interesting, and balanced program between August and November 2016. The definitive date and location of your contribution will be clarified in a case-by-case basis with you. If possible, please offer multiple options in your application.
