Contested Modernities.
„Contested Modernities“ wirft einen Blick auf den Diskurs über die südostasiatische Architekturmoderne in Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Singapur und Yangon in Dokumentationen, Interviews und künstlerisch-forschenden Arbeiten. Ergänzt werden diese um einen Blick auf die Rolle der beiden deutschen Staaten in Südostasien in der Zeit des Kalten Krieges.
Unclaimed Identities
Haus D Otto-Braun-Straße 72, Berlin"Unclaimed Identities" is an initiative by United Hands for Refugees & Grapefruit Magazine, which focuses on queer women with a migration background. The two-day exhibition examines the question, "How do the various lenses in which we view the world influence our similarities and differences?"
Art and panel discussions are intended to strengthen the voices of women artists in states of stagnation and flow.
The aim is to promote solidarity and unity with the local community and communities across borders, to discuss benefits and downfalls of labels, and to network with the community. There is a donation-based entry and all proceeds go to supporting refugee women in need of emergency support.
